Job Brief:
We are looking for a Test Engineer to work at our research and development centre in
Chennai (India). As a test engineer, you will be collaborating with our Front end, Backend,
Electronics Hardware Design, Software and Project Management Teams.
To ensure success as a Test Engineer, you should possess extensive knowledge in testing
methodologies and experience in managing test teams. Work experience in the IoT domain
will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
· Develop test cases from user requirements ensuring traceability.
· Ensure test case design & test strategy is followed.
· Setup Test Environment & Execute test campaigns.
· Develop Test Automation scripts.
· Log defects & ensure their closure in the defect tracking tool.
· Prepare test reports & dashboards.
Requirements:
· Technical Skills: Java, Selenium, Python, SQL and Linux
· Good to have Knowledge of IBM Rational Robot, JIRA, Silk performance, QTT, WEB
load & Load runner
· Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science, information science, or similar.
· Experience in embedded devices, mobile apps & web app testing.
· Well-versed with Test case design techniques.
· Experience in Bug tracking, Traceability, and Test Case execution tools.
· Working experience in agile methodologies for planning and tracking.
